WHY HEALING PROVIDED
Are you in need of a healing of any sort...in your body, your heart, your mind, your marriage, etc.?
I was too, and all at once. It was a very terrifying place to be until I found out that the healing I needed was already provided and waiting for me. I was a brand-new mom with a failing body. I was dealing with a medical condition that left doctors scratching their heads, which was a very scary feeling as I had a newborn baby girl. Shortly after sickness entered my body, I received more devastating news about my marriage. My heart was shattered, and I was convinced my marriage was over for good. Fear was engulfing my heart with all my uncertainties. My future seemed so uncertain, and I felt broken beyond repair in more than a few areas. In that pit of despair, I was led to the truth... the Word of God. I quickly became persuaded that if healing would come, it would come from God. I needed to renew my mind to the truth that my situation wasn't too big or too far gone to be redeemed. I dove deep into the Word and began to take it like medicine. The eyes of my heart were opened to a whole new reality. A truth that far surpassed how bad things looked in the natural for me. The facts were clear, but there was a truth saying something very different for me. Everything in the Word was saying I was forgiven, healed, qualified, redeemed, and secure. If you could have seen my circumstances at the time, you may have thought differently. A simple decision to trust what He was saying over the doctors, my body, the world, and even friends turned things around for me. Psalms 107:20 says, He sent His Word and healed them and rescued them from their destruction. I yielded my heart to that truth and was able to receive all He had already provided for me...healing!

I was rescued from a MS diagnosis, a broken heart, and a broken marriage. The knowledge of what He provided on the cross changed everything for me, and it can change things for you! I'm not special, and I'm no exception. What He did in my life, He will do in yours. Your healing is provided and waiting on the other side of your trust. I hope to inspire you to not just take my word for it but take His Word for it. Take His Word for your healing and any other turn around you need in your life.
